With the accelerated development of globalization, English as one of the International prevailing languages play an important role in our modern life. People who are master of English can acquire the latest knowledge more easily and faster. In addition, they can gain more opportunities in the job interview.

Many of us start to learn English in our early life, some even in the kindergarten. Unfortunately, few people can read and understand an English short essay, not to mention chat with a foreigner. Although some students can read and write, but their listening and oral skills are too poor to apply them in communication.

So, how to solve these issues? In my mind, the first thing we should know is the proverb: nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Whatever difficulties we run into, keep moving! Only after numerous hardships we have overcome, we can see the most beautiful rainbow. The second point is reading some English materials such as VOA or BBC news and practicing our oral and listening ability by recite and read aloud some classical articles. After a few months, I totally believe we will find that we reach a new world, but remember, live and learn!
